Hi, I'm Lina – a German state-certified, publicly appointed and sworn translator and interpreter for English.
I've been fascinated by languages and different cultures for as long as I can remember, so turning that passion into my career felt like the natural choice.
I grew up in Belgium before moving to Germany at the age of 13. Being raised bilingually taught me from an early age how to navigate different languages and cultures. After finishing high school, I spent a year in Australia, where I further developed my passion for the English language and intercultural communication. Back in Germany, I studied Linguistics and English Studies before completing my training as a state-certified translator and interpreter at the Würzburg School of Interpreting. Since July 2024, I have been officially sworn and publicly appointed as a translator and interpreter for English.

A little more about me
Outside of work, sport is a huge part of my life—if not the biggest. Whether it's weightlifting, endurance training or dancing, I love mixing things up and trying new challenges. I also enjoy solving puzzles and singing (even if I'm not particularly good at it). Travelling is another one of my greatest passions. What's better than stepping outside your routine, discovering hidden gems, trying new food and meeting people from all over the world? I truly believe that everyone we meet has something valuable to teach us.
